There is a playground next to the picnic area, as well as a short walk to the beach. A grass volleyball net will be set up to play.

(Grant Park is large and has many streets and picnic areas! One way to get directions to Picnic Area 7 is to look up Wil-O-Way Park at 207 Lake Drive, South Milwaukee, WI 53172, and instead of taking the last right toward the Wil-O-Way building, drive straight into the parking lot at Picnic Area 7 and 8.)
